Biographical history

Robert Simon Newey is a former widow dresser, art director, actor and photographer. He was briefly part-owner in the Zoli Modeling Agency and Director of the Men's Division of the Elite Modeling Agency. A member of the Screen Actor's Guild, Newey played background or bit parts in more than forty films while also serving as a talent agent. From 1982 to 2013, he owned his own business providing headshots to prominent individuals.

This collection contains a wide variey of materials documenting the career of Simon Robert Newey. His work as a window dresser and display artist is documented by a series of black & white as well as color photographs. Promotional materials for the Zoli Modeling agency inform his work in the modeling and entertainment industry as both an agent and actor. Newey's own career as an actor is documented with his headshots and on-location photographs, and his work as a photographer is represented via promotional materials for his business.
